NBAA 2009, Orlando FL, October 20, 21, 22 - Howard Guy one of Design Q's Directors and owners will be attending the Convention this month.
LearJet 85 - Learjet will be showing off its revolutionary new composite bodied LJ85, now well under development and still working towards first customer deliveries in 2013. The cabin design done by Design Q in partnership with LearJet has been highly acclaimed by industry insiders and Learjet customers alike.
Bombardier Global Vision Flight Deck - Bombardier's ground-breaking new Global Vision flight deck completed it's first test flight on August 3rd. Capt Gary Bruce, Project Test Pilot remarked that "the comfort and ergonomics of the overall cockpit are like nothing we’ve ever experienced." Avro ABJ - Following a positive EBACE in Geneva earlier this year where DQ had two aircraft at the show BAe's Avro Business Jet received enthusiastic interest from customers for its wide-body VIP cabin layout and value for money. Design Q and BAe are working in partnership to develop a number of unique VIP cabins for new and existing customers.
MAXCABIN - Following massive public interest last month with articles in national and international press and TV, the development of the MAXCABIN is moving on at considerable pace. Designed as a short-haul travel solution, it was conceived by Design Q to improve comfort, safety, boarding times and PAX count whilst also reducing internal structures and weight. Several partners are contributing to the analysis of the proposals with a potential crash simulation in December this year.
