Maserati 4200Q Spyder

The bespoke Maserati 4200Q was created by Design Q for an individual customer - John Lee. A keen car enthusiast, John had researched design studios around the world before discovering that Design Q, a company just down the road, offered precisely the services he needed. With a racing background, and having owned many stunning cars over the years (from Ferrari Dinos to F430s), John was looking for something even more exclusive. Amongst his collection was a Maserati 4200 which John could see had great potential for improvement. With a 4.2 V8 Ferrari engine, it was fantastic to drive, but he had never quite fallen in love with its styling. John tasked Design Q with evolving his Maserati to bring it in line with current design trends and achieve a more contemporary look. Design Q designed all new bumpers, front grille, tail lamps, sills/splitters and a new interior. John was involved throughout the process and clearly took great pleasure in seeing our team of designers and modellers create his dream car, from the first sketch through to the finished product. As car enthusiasts ourselves, we were thrilled to be involved and delighted to exceed John’s expectations.
